Notes on JEC ECU's.
- Basically if it states Unisia Jec or Denso (not Hitachi) on it and was made after 1998, it can probably can be reflashed currently (exception 03/04 RS).
- But of course testing needs to be completed on it. Some other examples of this are the Forester and Legacy models also which can also be tuned.
- Pricing is going to be around $300-$350 for new tunes
- Pricing for upgrades including previous I-Speed/Crawford reflashes will be around$150-$200

Response to questions.

1. Would this be like we send you our ecu and you flash it and ship it back?
- Yes, only option at this time

2. OBD-I Tuning?
- This will not be something I will be working on. Though I have been speaking with Enduring Solutions a little more about offering there system in the US to the older JEC OBD-I vehicles. Problem with these older cars are they are not reflashable so only chips are available. This also includes the 1998 RS. The one benefit though is they take well to piggybacks as these ECU's do not learn at all.

3. Alternative solution for the 03/04 RS.
- One of the options is a piggyback solution that comes with pre-defined maps on it.

4. 1999 RS Higher Redline
- I am working on that one still. Sort of a pain to find it, but still looking in the code for it.
- As for other model years it depends on the parts on the cars. I do not want to give you something to blow your car up with.

5. 1000 Grind cams and 1500 cams (according to Delta Cams)
- I think Stage 3 map will be incorrect for this type of cam and the Stage 2 map will be the best option. Though if I have someone local to tune I cam look into dyno tuning them for a custom map.

6. Buying ECU's. Purschasing for core swaps
- Already have quite a few in stock for core swaps and can get more as needed.

7. 1998 RS ECU
- Enduring Solutions system OR some other form of piggybacks. But looking to see what will work best.

8. Options for Pre-99 Models
- Potentially looking at offering a system for these cars. Depends on demand.

9. OBD-II 96-97-98 Impreza models
- There is no direct reflash for these cars. But I have tuned using piggybacks on these cars, turbo and non-turbo and it has worked well. But for a true tune not really sure quite yet. Still needs some time to figure out.

10. User-Tunable
- This might be an option with a piggyback on top of a reflash. With that this would allow you a range of custom tuning for your vehicle. But as a true reflash, possibly not. Just too much work and time to get that working for a small market.

11. Any ECU's in questions (including pre-99 ECU)
- Send me a PM and some pictures I can see the case of the ECU, specifically the label. I can then determine if it can be potentially tuned or not. Also the number of connectors into the ECU. Also if you can send a picture of inside the case, more specifically a picture of all the electronics and I will see what we can do.

12. Would the $150-$200 for upgrades on previous versions include iSpeed/Crawford reflashes?
- Yes, we are also working on missfire sensitivity, which I know was another concern.
