The JEC Reflash is designed for the Unisia Jec's Re-programmable ECU. These ECU's are not very common but found in various Subaru and Nissan platforms around 1999-2002. So far we have been able to determine that we can reprogram a selection of Subaru models allowing us to retune the ignition and fueling for various modifications and configurations. With proper adjustments, we are able to refine the tune for a broader power band, nearly remove the infamous "turbo lag" in the mid-range of the power band and have even been told but multiple customers, that the fuel economy of the vehicle has improved.

NEW Features
- Check Engine Lights (no problem)
- Improved Knock Control Sensitivity
- Radiator Fan Activation Thresholds
- Speed Limiter Increase

The Stage Map tuning options for these vehicles are as follows.

Stage 1 (S1) - Stock or Cat back & Intake or some variation + Cams 1000 / 1500 Grind or similar (87 or 91 oct)
- The Stage 1 map is designed for vehicle running stock configurations, or have some sort of light modifications to the vehicle including, intake and/or cat back exhaust system. This map will work with either 87, 89, or 91 octane fuels.

How to determine if we can reflash your ECU with Stage maps or Custom mapping.

1. The ECU label states "Made in Japan"
2. The ECU label states "Unisia Jecs Corporation"
3. The ECU has a three plug harness
4. The ECU was most likely pulled from one of the following vehicles
- Subaru Impreza 1999-2002
- Subaru Forester 1999-2002
- Subaru Legacy 1999-2001

ECU Upgrades Verification (requires prior ECU license)

1. A prior V1 ECU License or V2 Spork ECU license is required from a previous reflash performed by William T Knose Jr.
2. All ECU upgrades verification will inspect the ECU ROM for a proper license. This is done during testing procedures when the original ECU is received.

V2 Spork ECU License

1. ECU's displaying an X.2 on the Delicious Tuning label are equipped with the proper V2 Spork ECU License
